Abingdon, Maryland resident Nicole Stevenson recently graduated from the University of Maryland, which she attended at its College Park campus. While in the dual-degree program, she secured her bachelor of arts in English and history. Moreover, she earned a place on the Dean’s List each semester and was awarded departmental honors for her work on her English thesis. She was also named to the Phi Beta Kappa honor society. Nicole Stevenson took an internship opportunity with the University of Maryland’s Student Legal Aid Office, where she carried out intake interviews and worked closely with lawyers.
Beyond her educational and extra-curricular achievements, Nicole Stevenson of Abingdon stays culturally engaged by playing the piano and the violin. She reads widely, and some of her favorite books are classics like The Three Musketeers by Alexandre Dumas. In terms of the theater and the cinema, she appreciates the musical adaptation of Victor Hugo’s Les Miserables and the classic 1939 film, Gone with the Wind.
